Full Version: LightNEasy 3 Release Candidate 2

LightNEasy is already the highest rated CMS on Opensourcecms.com in the "lite" category.

LightNEasy 3 will be a major breakthrough from previous database versions, intended to enter the not-so-lite CMS universe, and also database driven:

SQLite or MySQL;
Multiuser, several user levels;
Define which users access which pages;
Unlimited extra areas;

I'm sort of out of ideas on how to make it the best way, so any suggestion is more than welcome

Thank you
Fernando
Is there a link?

Of course! LightNEasy website support forum. You can get the release candidate from the support forum, not the downloads page.
i have written a full mysql/sqlite 3 abstract layer which i use in my own cms. I have never used LNE because of some of the limitations posed in LNE 2. Most of these seemed solved in LNE3. You might want to give your website a new look for the new version. Maybe something with white and light blue and some nice clouds and glassy effects for the "light n easy"ness of it. I'm sure if you ran a contest on your site there would be good response.
LightNEasy is today the highest rated CMS on Opensourcecms.com in the "lite" category....which says it all....
LightNEasy is a complete Content Management System for managing all your pages. Create, edit and delete your webpages without the need of any HTML knowledge. It is very easy to convert any html page to a LightNEasy template: Just rename it into template.php, its CSS to style.css and insert into your templates special markers to tell LightNEasy where to put your content.
You are right! Thank you for king sharing.i like the article.
On my live server, I get errors when I click the generate button. Currently I keep a copy on my local machine, generate the files there and upload the resulting php files and the database file to my live server.
