I have tried a little mockup of that the forum could start to look like in the limited time I have. If I could have some feedback on what I have so far would be great. Feedback includes, "Well I don't like it all, try something different like blue or more graphics or whatever".

Well so far the mock up only looks like top navigation, unless your image didn't fully upload? So without more of a design it's hard to say if it's looking good or not. Right now what I can see is pretty basic.
yeah i just don't know if people like the whole black and white thing.

Btw. Why don't we use some decent forum software like IP.Board or even PhpBB looks better than this one.
i don't know...all forum software is really hard to theme for, although I hate this one even more because it is all stored in the database!?
sign. i don't have filesystem access, but I will contact colum and see if I can get some FTP access and play around a bit with PHPBB, IP.Board costs money.
