I have a website that I want to convert out of straight html/css because I want this to be a site easily maintained by someone who is not a coder/designer themselves. Hence why CMFs seem to be the next step.

So, is there any way to integrate this javascript dropdown (or something else) into wordpress?

I would need it to pull data that could be easily managed (i.e. the menus of our various locations) into the area of that content dropdown? The info of those cafe menus would have to be easily managed/edited in the backend.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Actually, the 2 languages have almost nothing in common except for the name. Although Java is technically an interpreted programming language, it is coded in a similar fashion to C++, with separate header and class files, compiled together prior to execution. It is powerful enough to write major applications and insert them in a web page as a special object called an "applet." Java has been generating a lot of excitment because of its unique ability to run the same program on IBM, Mac, and Unix computers. Java is not considered an easy-to-use language for non-programmers.
Javascript is much simpler to use than Java. With Javascript, if I want check a form for errors, I just type an if-then statement at the top of my page. No compiling, no applets, just a simple sequence.

Hello,
I run this website, and we've been doing a lot of re-designs of it to make it look better. What makes it annoying is that when we re-design, we have to go through and manually update each page to look like the others.
So, someone suggested that we switch over to CSS. So, I took how the site currently looks, imported it into notepad, and now I need a way that I can convert it into a CSS style sheet, can someone help me out?

1. Always use graphics that fit the content.
2. Do not use images that blink or move or change or rotate or flash or do anything on your page.
3. Stick with standard layouts.
4. Whitespace is more than the CSS property, it is a function of your layout. You should be aware of the whitespace on your pages and how it affects how the content is viewed.

Problems with gridview in panel.

Hi,
I have the fallowing problem:
A gridview in panel work fine on some workstation in local area network and at the others the panel appear inactive, the gridview exceed the limit of the panel. The scrollbar appear inactive.
What is wrong ?
